So this Sunday is Singapore's National Day Parade - or a celebration of Singapore's birthday. Like any other country's national day, it involves a lot of marching army people, fighter jets, fireworks and politicians hugging babies, but it looks like Singapore really really gets involved in it! There are Singapore flags hanging out of just about every apartment window, and each shop has the Singapore flag flying proudly.
Look out for some exciting photography of the numerous events happening over the weekend. I will be out, snapping away amongst the locals.
