Sampling at Salamanca

We arrived in Hobart, Tasmania early in the morning on our first day, so we started off by looking around the "famed" Salamanca Markets. We arent sure whether it was the intermittent rain, or the fact that we'd only just two months prior been to the Prague Christmas Markets, but we were a little "blah" about these ones. We enjoyed looking at the fresh tasmanian produce, including the honey, cheese and wood products, but we didnt stick around for long. We headed for the nearest cafe, filled up on a solid brunch and then hit the road to another famed Hobart location, Port Arthur.
